- About the role
EVOLEO Technologies is looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer to join our technical team and contribute to the development, integration, and validation of embedded solutions across challenging engineering projects. We are seeking someone with at least 3 years of relevant experience, solid embedded development skills, and a hands-on approach to hardware-software integration and problem-solving.
- What you will do
- Develop embedded software and firmware for microcontroller- and processor-based systems
- Implement and integrate communication interfaces and device drivers
- Support hardware-software integration and system bring-up
- Perform debugging, functional testing, and validation
- Analyse requirements and contribute to embedded architecture decisions
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation
- Use version control and structured development practices
- Collaborate with electronics, FPGA, systems engineering, and AIT teams
- Support troubleshooting activities and continuous improvement
- What we are looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in embedded systems development
- Strong knowledge of C/C++ for embedded applications
- Experience with microcontrollers, processors, and peripheral interfaces
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, or Ethernet
- Experience with debugging and testing tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good proficiency in technical English
- Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
- What we value
- Experience with RTOS or embedded Linux
- Knowledge of FPGA or integration with programmable logic
- Experience with Python or scripting for testing and automation
- Knowledge of electronics and schematic interpretation
- Experience in the aerospace, defence, automotive, or other high-reliability sectors
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, or software quality practices
