- About the role
EVOLEO Technologies is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to strengthen the Embedded Systems team and contribute to the architecture, development, and validation of embedded solutions in demanding technology projects. We are looking for an experienced engineer with high technical autonomy, the ability to take on broad technical responsibilities, and the drive to contribute to the evolution of the team's methods and solutions.
- What you will do
- Define and develop embedded systems architectures and technical solutions
- Develop, review, and debug embedded software and firmware
- Support hardware-software integration and system bring-up
- Define interfaces, communication protocols, and integration approaches
- Plan and execute verification, validation, and debugging activities
- Review technical requirements and contribute to system-level decisions
- Prepare and review technical documentation
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers
- Collaborate with electronics, FPGA, systems engineering, and AIT teams
- Contribute to engineering methods, standards, and continuous improvement
- What we are looking for
- BSc or MSc degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Solid professional experience in embedded systems development
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and embedded software development
- Experience with microcontrollers, processors, and hardware interfaces
- Experience with communication protocols and embedded debugging tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and take technical ownership
- Good proficiency in technical English
- Good communication skills and teamwork mindset
- What we value
- Previous experience in technical leadership or mentoring
- Experience with RTOS or embedded Linux
- Knowledge of FPGA integration and digital interfaces
- Experience in the aerospace, defence, automotive, or other high-reliability sectors
- Knowledge of software development processes, version control, and CI/CD
- Experience in verification, qualification, or certification-driven development
